From The Wild - Field Cookery Camp - Sha

WHAT TO EXPECT

FORAGING WALKS

Our culinary-focused walk will be an introduction into the world of foraging - from the canopy of trees to things that grow underground, and everything in between. Our objective is to get you thinking differently about what possibilities lie at the intersection of the forest and the home kitchen. Expect a light walk, loads of information, an opportunity to taste and smell some new things, and inspiration to engage more deeply with the ecosystems you play in. Please refer to your order for the 'when', as it will tell you what time we're meeting up.

WHAT TO BRING?

We recommend long sleeves, long pants, covered shoes, and a hat - all helpful to manage sun, bugs, and bush. Dress for the weather as we’ll be out there rain or shine. Please also bring: curiosity and questions! A notepad or phone are handy for taking notes.

Please leave at home: for safety reasons we ask that no sharps be brought into the field. Your guide will have one if needed.

CAN'T FIND US, OR CHANGE OF PLANS?

If you have any questions or hit any snags day of, please email us at forage@fromthewild.ca
