From The Wild is teaming up with alumni Aman Dosanj [The Paisley Notebook] and John Schneider [Gold Forest Grains] for a special collaborative pop up dinner bringing together film, the flavours of Alberta’s wild places, and the bounty from John’s organic farm.
Join us for a night of edible storytelling at Gold Forest Grains (near Morinville) on Saturday, July 27, featuring a farm-to-forest long table with 4 Indian-inspired courses inspired by Canada's wild foods and the From The Wild family.
The evening will start with a tour of the farm with John before being seated at the communal long table. Each course will tell an intimate story with the help of From The Wild alumni - preceded by a clip from the series that inspired the dish. Travelling from the Okanagan, Aman will be collecting ingredients for this dinner with the help of a little trade route.
Please arrive at 7:00 PM for a 7:30 PM farm tour. If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions (including vegetarian), please email aman@paisleynotebook.com. This edible adventure features a set menu, which will not be shared until each course is up. A little request is for you to be in touch with allergies before purchasing tickets, as some allergies may not be possible to accommodate because the menu follows a story (please and thank you).
