Join Kevin in his field kitchen for a fish cookery class.

Kevin will host an intimate group of 6 guests in the bush for an evening focused on fish cookery. We’ll talk about a wide variety of preparation approaches, and tackle 3 of them. Best part: you get to eat it all. Expect 3 fish courses, wild beverages, and to leave with a bunch of ideas you can use at home and in the field to up your game with fish cookery. These cooking classes are more ‘demo and dining’ than hands-on, and make no mistake - you’ll be learning and eating in a walk-in camp in the forest, so expect bush-rustic and wood smoke. All fish will be wild species from western Canada, sourced from our fantastic local suppliers.

This class is part of a series of cooking classes being planned for 2023.

  • TIME: 5-8pm

LOCATION: Our field kitchen is one hour north of Edmonton, on private land owned by From The Wild. Directions are provided in a briefing email delivered roughly a week in advance of the class.

WHAT TO EXPECT - Our field kitchen is walk-in only, in the forest. You'll be part of a small class (6) discussing, cooking, and tasting 3 very different approaches to fish cookery. Kinda dinner and a show, but where the show is learning useful stuff to improve (or at minimum get you pumped about) your fish cookery at home and in the field.

CANCELLATION POLICY - we'll happily offer a full refund if you really need to cancel up to two weeks in advance. Under two weeks, and we cannot provide a refund but can offer for you to join us at a future similar event.

Full details provided by email prior to the event.
