The Boreal forest is the largest land-based biome on earth, and dominates Canada. If there's a place to learn to start foraging in wild places, this is it. Our primary location and field kitchen is near Rochester, which is one of our most popular walk locations by far.
Your guide will introduce you to 15-20 species of wild edible plants and fungus, with a focus on their use in the home kitchen - covering ideas for savoury dishes, desserts, and beverages. We'll get you started if you're new to it, or level you up if you've already got your feet wet.
