BEEN ON A FORAGING WALK? THIS IS THE NEXT STEP. A lot of people have asked when they get to taste the kinds of drinks, desserts, and savoury dishes we talk about on foraging walks. This is that time.

We'll do a foraging review, cover some preservation options for the foraged pantry, and then dive into the making of a drink, dessert, and main course featuring foraged ingredients. It's an opportunity for your palate and nose to connect the dots, and dive deeper into the world of wild food - all while enjoying lunch in camp.

Think of it like a foraging 'cooking class'!!

Foraging 201

C$148.00Price
  • TIME - 10am - 1pm

WHAT TO EXPECT - Meet up in the boreal at our prospector tent basecamp. We'll have a  foraged tea while reviewing some of the broad strokes in the world of foraging. After a chat about some preservation options, we'll get right to building a beverage, a main course, and a dessert that will be both the lesson, and your lunch! So yes, yes you get to eat and drink the tasty things.

NOTE - our basecamp location is actually in a large forest, and we will be doing some hiking through the bush in very undulating terrain. If you have concerns or questions about your ability to participate, please do contact us prior to buying a spot.

CANCELLATION POLICY - we'll happily offer a full refund if you really need to cancel up to two weeks in advance. Under two weeks, and we cannot provide a refund but can offer for you to join us at a future similar event.

Full details provided by email a few days prior to the event.
